Charity and CSR Involvement

As I strongly believe that technology can build a successful nation tomorrow, my charity works too merged with my belief. “Sri Lanka Tomorrow” is a foundation conceptualized by myself with the help of my family and friends aiming to develop and enhance the opportunities of future generation in the Tsunami affected areas of Sri Lanka to use ICT.

About Sri Lanka Tomorrow

Our vision is building up opportunities for the future generation from the areas swept away by the Tsunami, motivating them to take part in further activities through the access of Information Communication Technologies, making them involve in vocational studies, sharing experiences and building up mutual understanding.

Through the foundation, I aim to pave the way to secure the technology related knowledge which is going to become the sole governing power of the future education as well as commercial sector.

The vision of “Sri Lanka Tomorrow” is expected to be achieved by providing the required Information Communication Technological infrastructure for the areas which were affected by Tsunami in 2004 and still struggling to restore its previous life. Through providing the ICT infrastructure facilities, it is expected to improve the information technological skills among people, to enhance the technological knowledge, to erect international understanding, and to strengthen the leadership skills so as to increase employment opportunities.

In detail, “Sri Lanka Tomorrow” works vigorously in providing wireless internet services, set-up the required infrastructure in the Tsunami affected areas, providing resources and access to a wide ICT facilities, accumulate the academic schemes, monitoring and evaluating the progress, communication skills trainings, providing online job opportunities and offering online consultation services.
